Admissions

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At The White House School, our admissions process is designed to be supportive, thorough and personalised, ensuring we can fully understand each pupil’s individual strengths and needs before offering a placement.

Our assessment and admissions process allows our Headteacher and Admissions Administrator to build a detailed picture of how we can best support each child to learn and thrive within our nurturing environment. As part of this process, we always meet pupils in person prior to offering a place so that decisions are based on a current and holistic understanding of their learning profile and wellbeing needs.

Most pupils join The White House School through consultation with their Local Authority SEND team. If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and you feel our school may be a suitable placement, we recommend speaking with your Case Officer about requesting a consultation with us.

Families are very welcome to contact us directly for an informal conversation before beginning this process. We are always happy to talk through our provision and help you explore whether The White House School may be the right fit for your child and family.
