House System
Helping pupils feel part of a supportive community where everyone belongs, contributes and succeeds together.
At The White House School, our House System helps pupils feel part of a supportive community where everyone belongs, contributes and succeeds together.
Each pupil joins one of our four school houses:
These houses bring pupils together from across different classes and pathways, helping to build friendships, confidence and a strong sense of identity within our school community.
Our House System plays an important role in promoting our core values of Ambition, Resilience and Community, while supporting our whole-school ethos of Healthy Minds, Happy Hearts.
Building a sense of belonging

Leadership opportunities such as these form an important part of The White House Way, supporting pupils to grow in independence and self-belief.
Celebrating effort, achievement and values
House points are awarded throughout the school day to recognise when pupils demonstrate our school values:
Ambition
Trying something new, showing effort and developing independence
Resilience
Persevering through challenges and managing emotions positively
Community
Showing kindness, respect and responsibility towards others
House points help pupils understand that success is about effort, growth and teamwork as well as achievement.
Working together across the school
Pupils take part in a range of house activities across the year, including:
These experiences help pupils develop confidence, teamwork and pride in representing Jupiter, Saturn, Mars or Mercury.
A shared celebration of success
House achievements are celebrated regularly through assemblies and whole-school events, helping pupils recognise their own progress and the successes of others.
Through our House System, pupils learn that they are an important part of something bigger than themselves – a caring community where everyone can learn and thrive with Healthy Minds and Happy Hearts.
